Christ Lutheran Plant Sale This Weekend

NORFOLK - Christ Lutheran School is turning Northeast Community College’s Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex into a jungle this weekend during its 10th annual plant sale.  Students spent the last few weeks taking orders for more than $75,000 worth of plants.  Plant sale chair Jen Vavra says if you’ve pre-ordered, your plants, stop by the ag complex either Friday or Saturday morning, pick up your order form at the front desk, and students will help you find your plants and transport them to your vehicle.  Hours are Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to noon.  Vavra asks if you’ve pre-ordered to pick up your plants by 10 a.m. Saturday.  If you haven’t pre-ordered, no problem.  You’ll be able to purchase plants, flowers, herbs, grasses, vegetables and other items for your green thumbs at the ag complex.  The money raised will be used for students’ tuition and the purchase of I-pads for the 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
