Clearwater Woman Sentenced for Fifth DUI

PLATTSMOUTH - A Clearwater woman has been sentenced to up to five years in prison for her fifth drunk driving conviction. Camille Herley was arrested January 13th – her 40th birthday – in Plattsmouth. Her blood alcohol content was .24 – three times the legal imit. Herley was also convicted of drunk driving in Antelope and Knox counties in 1996, 2004, 2007 and 2012. On Monday, Cass County District Judge Jeffrey Funke sentenced Herley to 36-to-60 months in prison and revoked her driver’s license for 15 years. In exchange for her guilty plea, a felony charge of violation of an ignition interlock permit was dismissed.  Herley must serve at least three years of her sentence before being released.
