NORFOLK - An actor who spent several weeks in the Norfolk area last fall has won the best actor award at the Cannes Film Festival.  Bruce Dern won the award for his role in Alexander Payne’s father-son road trip movie, “Nebraska.” The film was shot in Plainview and other Northeast Nebraska locations last fall.  Crews for the film operated out of the Norfolk City Auditorium.  The black-and-white film is expected to be in general release later this year.
