Michigan Avenue overhaul project to begin in late May or early June

NORFOLK - A complete overhaul of Michigan Avenue in Norfolk is set to begin later this summer.  Contractors will begin work in either late May or early June.  The city’s Assistant Engineer, Mark Dolechek says project will run from Wood to 10th Streets.  He says workers  will also make the intersection at Michigan Avenue and  11th Street safer.  Dolechek says construction could last two-to-three months.  He says the city will work with residents who live on Michigan Avenue, but for the most part, access will be extremely limited.
