Newman Grove H.S. student represents Nebraska at international science & engneering fair

PHOENIX - The best of the best young scientists and researchers are attending the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix this week. This is the world's largest high school level competition and 17-year-old Brooke Picke of Newman Grove High School is representing Nebraska in the environmental science division. Brooke's project is "Can Lemnaceae be the Answer to Nitrate Pollution in the Shell Creek Watershed?"  She gave a presentation to judges yesterday and will learn the outcome today during the awards ceremony.
