NJHS 7th-grade science students plant Central Park butterfly garden

NORFOLK - Norfolk Junior High School is putting its stamp on the transformation of Central Park.  Last month, art students assisted Omaha artist Gerard Pefung in generating ideas for a mural he painted on the restroom building.  Then last Friday, Julie Wisch’s 7th grade science students spent their class periods planting a butterfly garden.  The students planted a variety of bushes and flowers.  The Central Park butterfly garden and mural are scheduled to be officially dedicated at a ceremony Friday morning at 10:00.
