Norfolk area motorists asked to be cautios around construction zones

NORFOLK - Weather permitting, starting Monday, crews will begin stalling permanent pavement markings on the Norfolk South project along 13th Street from Pasewalk Avenue to Sherwood Road.  Department of Roads officials say the work will require lane closures and should be completed within a week.  Then beginning Tuesday, a traffic switch is scheduled for the roundabout project at the intersection of Nebraska Highway 35 and Victory Road.  Eastbound traffic on East Norfolk Avenue will be routed to the westbound lane and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. Motorists are used to caution while traveling through all construction zones.
