Norfolk Homebuilders Present Check to NECC

NORFOLK - A year from now, Northeast Community College students in the trades’ area will be moving into their new 67,000 square-foot building.  In the meantime, building construction; electromechanical; electrical construction and control; and heating, ventilation and air conditioning students have received a nice boost from the Norfolk-Area Homebuilders Association.  Northeast’s Vice President for Student Services John Blaylock says at last week’s meeting of the college’s board of governors, the Homebuilders presented Northeast with a check for $30,000.  With the contribution, the Norfolk Area Homebuilders Association has contributed $80,000 to Northeast Community College over the last ten years.
