Pilger Teen Injured in Rollover Accident

PILGER - A 17-year-old rural Pilger girl has been taken to the hospital with possible internal injuries, following a one-vehicle accident Saturday.  The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the rollover accident east of Pilger on Old Highway 8.  The accident occurred at around 5 p.m. Saturday.  Christine Brahmsteadt was east-bound when she lost control of her SUV.  It left the roadway and rolled several times.  Pilger Rescue transported her to St. Francis Memorial hospital in West Point.     Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says Brahmsteadt was wearing a seatbelt and credits it with saving her life.
