Portion of Book Sales to Suicide Prevention Organization
NORFOLK - Part of the proceeds from sales of a book written by an internationally-known speaker will be donated to the Northeast Nebraska Coalition for Suicide Prevention. Josh Rivedal was in Norfolk last fall for a conference on suicide prevention. His one-man show is called “The Gospel According to Josh,” and he says he has turned that into a book: “The Gospel According to Josh: A 28 Year Gentile Bar Mitzvah.” The book is on the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s recommended reading list for survivors of suicide. It can be purchased on Amazon.com or from Barnes and Noble. Rivedal says a special Northeast Nebraska edition of the book includes a forward written by Donna Wolff, facilitator of the Northeast Nebraska Survivors of Suicide support group. Twenty-five percent of the sales of that edition will be donated to the Northeast Nebraska group to further their efforts at suicide prevention and support for the survivors of suicide.
