Several Weekend Arrests for DUI

NORFOLK - Norfolk Police officers made at least three arrests for driving under the influence over the weekend. Police Captain Mike Bauer reports that just after midnight on Saturday, Trevor McKown, 23, of Belgrade was arrested after failing to stop at the red light at Madison Avenue and South 1st. He was arrested for driving under the influence  - 2nd offense, housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later released on cash bond. Bauer says two men were arrested early Saturday morning for first offense drunk driving. Ricky Kerkman, 47, was arrested about 12:56 Sunday morning near the intersection of 14th Street and Madison Avenue. At 1:27 Sunday morning, Blake Oleson, 38, was arrested after making an improper turn. Oleson was also arrested for refusal to submit to a preliminary breath test. Both Kerkman and Oleson were taken to the Norfolk City Jail and released after posting cash bonds.
