Tryouts Next Week for "Prisoner of 2nd Avenue"

NORFOLK - Tryouts will be held next week for the spring production of the Norfolk Community Theatre, “Prisoner of Second Avenue.”  Production Manager Amber Peterson says the plot follows a middle-aged man named Mel.  "He loses his job... and things can't seem to get much worse, until they do,"  Peterson says the cast calls for four women and two men, and it would be great if they were middle-aged actors. But she says make-up can make anyone fit the part, so age should not be a factor in determining whether or not to try out.  Tryouts will begin at 7 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday night in the Cox Activities Center Theatre. No preparation is necessary, but anyone with questions may call Peterson at (402) 649-6521.
