Wausa Goes For 7th State One-Act Title in 8 Years

NORFOLK - The one-act play production program at Wausa High School can rightly be called a dynasty.  The husband and wife team of Brad and Sheila Hoesing have directed state championship plays six times in the seven years and the defending state champs are back to try to make it seven out of eight.  Brad Hoesing says nearly the entire student body is bringing “Oz” to the Johnny Carson Theatre stage Wednesday afternoon at 3:30.  Wausa took five consecutive Class D-2 titles from 2006 to 2010 and are the defending Class D-1 champs.  They’re in Class D-1 again this year.
