Yankton Man Arrested for Possession of Meth

NORFOLK - Norfolk Police arrested a 40-year-old Yankton man early this morning for possession of methamphetamine after he was reported acting suspiciously in a parked car. Police Captain Mike Bauer says Joshua Taylor was one of two-men in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Road Runner Convenience store at 1220 North 1st Street at 2:49 this morning.  Bauer says Taylor’s speech was slurred, and a search revealed a small syringe with a liquid inside, as well as a glass pipe with a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine. Taylor was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
